www.susna.org

Good afternoon!

We hope that you are having an enjoyable summer, and looking forward to a return to campus in just a few weeks! We can’t wait to see our members again and continue the campaign for Scottish Independence and Student Interests!

We are emailing you today to let you know about some important information as well as some news from your Executive Committee

RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP

Ahead of the new semester, if you wish to remain a member of SUSNA, please renew your membership now! We are here to represent members of the SNP at the University of Stirling, and the more members we have – the stronger our voice!

We have taken the decision to lock our membership fees at the 2021 rate of £5 for the whole year as we understand the current financial strain many students are under.

If you wish to remain a member, but are worried about the membership fee, please get in touch with us so we can discuss the options!

You can renew your membership by visiting the Students Union website: https://stirlingstudentsunion.com/susna and choose the relevant membership option:

Standard Membership – this is for current students at the University of Stirling.

Associate Membership – this is for non-students (if you are a student but choose this option by mistake please contact ).

If you have any issues with purchasing your membership, please get in touch with us at !

FRESHERS 2022

Freshers is the biggest event in the University social calendar, and because of that, we have some fantastic events being planned which we are now able to share with our members!

GIVE IT A GO!

Our first event will be our Give it a Go session, which will be a political quiz and games night! This will take place on Tuesday the 20th of September at 7PM, however, the room is still to be confirmed and will be shared with you closer to the time! We will follow up the GIAG with drinks in the Union bar (alcohol optional) – this will be a great opportunity to meet fellow members and new people!

Upcoming Event

We are also planning a joint event with several other societies, but we’re not quite ready to share the details of this yet – but watch this space as you don’t want to miss this one!

Your Ideas and Thoughts

We are looking to regularly host social events and meetings in the next semester, but we need your ideas and thoughts on what you want from SUSNA! Please contact our Social Secretary, Alexander, at with your ideas so we can make it a reality!
